- 2The device (motor controller, level sensor, relay controller, etc.) physically wired to the gateway RS485 bus and powered on.
- 3HPzenAi app installed and logged in.

Device Not Found in Scan
- 1Confirm the device is powered on and the RS485 A and B wires are connected to the gateway.
- 2Check RS485 polarity — if the device is not detected, swap the A and B wires at the device end and scan again.
- 3Confirm each device on the RS485 bus has a unique Modbus address — duplicate addresses cause devices to not appear in scans.
- 4Only devices physically wired to the gateway's RS485 bus will appear in the scan results.
