Rename a linked device in the HPzenAi app to something meaningful for your installation.

What You'll Need​

Steps​

  • A device already linked to a gateway in your account.
  • HPzenAi app installed and logged in.
  • Account Owner or Admin access — Viewers cannot rename devices.

Open the HPzenAi app and navigate to the device tile you want to rename

After Renaming​

Steps​

  • The new name appears on all device tiles, notifications, event logs, and automation rules linked to this device.
  • Other users with access to the same project see the updated name on their next app refresh.
  • Renaming does not affect the device's physical configuration or Modbus address.
