Automations
Schedules & Active Time
Set scheduled automation times, repeat days, and active windows in the HPzenAi app.
How Timing Works
- Scheduled workflows run at the selected time and can repeat on selected days.
- Sensor workflows still need an active time window. If the window is closed, the automation waits and does not run.
- Manual scenes run when you tap Run, but they can still depend on the devices being online and available.
- Active time options keep behavior simple: All day, Day, or Night.

Active Time Options
| Option | When to Use |
|---|---|
| All day | Use for safety alerts, leak protection, offline alerts, and emergency shutoff actions. |
| Day | Use for watering, tank filling, or site operations that should run during daytime. |
| Night | Use for off-peak pumping, quiet-hour monitoring, or operations that should run overnight. |
Schedule Checks
- Match the phone time zone with the site time zone before testing.
- Confirm the selected days include today if you expect an immediate run.
- Keep safety workflows active all day unless there is a site-specific reason to limit them.
