Gateway Linking & Cloud Setup

Linking water meters to the HPzenAi Gateway and verifying cloud connectivity through the HPzenAi app.

How Connectivity Works​

HPzenAi water meters do not connect directly to Wi-Fi. The meter communicates with the HPzenAi Gateway through RS485, and the gateway forwards data to the cloud through Wi-Fi or SIM connectivity.

Prerequisites​

Steps​

  • Water meter installed and commissioned.
  • RS485 wiring completed.
  • Gateway powered on.
  • Gateway connected to the internet through Wi-Fi or SIM.
  • HPzenAi Mobile App installed.

Device Linking Procedure​

Follow these steps in the HPzenAi app to link the water meter to your gateway.

Open the HPzenAi app.

Verification​

Steps​

  • Water meter appears under linked devices.
  • Device status shows Connected.
  • Gateway communication is active.
  • Live meter readings are displayed.
  • Data updates successfully.

Expected Result​

Once configured, the HPzenAi Gateway automatically collects water meter readings and securely transmits data to the HPzenAi platform. Users can monitor consumption, review historical data, receive alerts, and access water meter information through the HPzenAi Mobile App and web dashboard.
